Be firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
— 1 Peter 5:9-10

Life is a Story

Cliche. Maybe. But whether your story is full of seemingly small, insignificant events or larger dramatic tales we each have pages of experiences that make up who we are. God is the one who gives us life and breath, orders and numbers our days, and allows both beauty and trials to inhabit our surroundings. He “determined our appointed time to live in history and the boundaries in which we would dwell.” It’s easy to compare our stories, our lives, thinking one has it harder or easier than another, or even one is more exciting or duller than the other, but let us be reassured that God will carry each one of us through our own life, our own story, strengthening and perfecting us uniquely as He completes the good work He began. Live your life abundantly for Him.

“One day you may tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide.”
